"I washed my face in the poorly designed Vancouver convention center bathroom" was honestly so funny

I love when Freezai said, "It's Freezing Time", and proceeded to Freeze all his opponents with Ice Beam

Big Stall™ really is expanding to vgc too, no one is safe now

I expect an evaluation of the bathroom of every tournament you attend from here out. The Yokohama bathroom is probably going to be top tier though.

Stuff like this is why I live competitive in both singles and VGC; strategies are being developed all the time, so even when in particular idea seems to not be very good, it does well because people don’t expect it. Then that idea is used more, and a counter meta develops. Then a counter to the counter meta develops, and it keeps going. It keeps the game fresh and always makes sure one concrete strategy won’t destroy everything

This man just walked into one of the most prestigious and brutal events in video gaming history, achieved a 64% win rate, and then said "meh, could be better."
You gotta give yourself some credit here, Freezai. I love how big your goals are and I support them but you have to congratulate yourself a bit along the way. Phenomenal job!

Loved when Freezai said "It's Freezin' time" and not only hit a blizzard without snow but also freeze the foe. Truly the most Pokemon trainer ever

Also random fact, Perth is one of the most isolated cities on Earth.

Really enjoying Freezai's shounen tournament arc.

Making day 2 in any of these tournaments is still an incredible feat, and don't let that bring you down! I started competing in the TCG recently, and so far haven't made a top cut for any of the 3 tournaments I've played. I've gotten very close and know how frustrating it can be to get that far and fall at the very least hurdle, but being able to make top cut against some of the best players in the world is a truly incredible feat. So making doing that in your first two official tournaments is OUTSTANDING. That being said, congrats on the placement, and good luck in your next one!

Dondozo tatsugiri is just very hard to pilot in a long tournament especially when you are trying to stall

These videos are so cool! The narrating and scripting is great. I'm totally invested in this journey of yours. Seeing the redemption of you going through a major low and then coming through with confidence is amazing. All you needed to do is remember that you're on a journey to be a pokemon master. And we're just in season one! Keep on doing your best man, this is great content

Nice battling you in the first round! If you’re going to Portland I’ll be sure to say hi. This time I am going to do better :P

The crushing defeat of losing on the bubble is something all players of many games experience, and it sucks, but you did really freakin good for your second event bro. That takes most people a far greater time to accomplish, and I hope you can only use that defeat to grow and get better ✌️
