Can you game on a 10 year old Apple Server?

Is an Apple Xserve a good gaming PC? Of course not, but lets see how it does anyway! These older Apple Xserves, as well as the similar Mac Pros from this same time, are very versatile and useful machines that can be repurposed for a variety of modern tasks.

Also, some additional info about Windows incompatibility: The Xserve is not compatible with Bootcamp, and while the reason is fuzzy, some say the EFI doesn't support NTFS, some say the Xserve doesn't have BIOS emulation that allows Windows to run on a Mac, you can't boot off a Windows install USB or DVD (I tried both with Windows 7 and 10). You can run Windows in emulators such as VMware however

What happened to the Imac you were upgrading ?
I would like to see what a Mac Mini server would do.
I could never figure out Civ 4 much less Civ 5.
Barbarians early on kept killing me.
Soon as I get my Macs repaired I have someone put on OS 9 so I can go back to Civ 3 Complete and Diablo 2.
My 2008 Imac is getting too old and everything I try keeps saying this version of ... is not supported.
I need a newer Mac and that will come later this year.

I think that with some mod it should be possible to fit a 1050ti inside that baby, it would be interesting to see how it play.

I have an 2006 Xserve 1, 1 2.66GHz But the previous owner erased the hard drive so I don’t have an operating system. If anyone knows where I can get one for under £20 here in the uk, please tell me.
