Years ago I visited a fancy private social club in downtown Houston for wealthy business people and I remember a large room that was wallpapered in mother of pearl. It looked like the skin of a huge iridescent snake.

Can you return the luster to very old antique MOP? I have an old Victorian MOP rosary and the pearls are dried out looking with no luster. Is there a restoration process I could use on the pearls?

I think i bought it in higher price, as the shopkeeper said its expensive than the pearls, i could assume its the inner shell but they kept on saying its very hard to find it.

A friend of ours did a mother of pearl wall on a yacht for a customer. We went with him to purchase the MOP because the dealer was located in the DC area and he flew here to purchase. The MOP was sold in sheets.
