I love how he keeps commending his friends on the field and the previous owner. Very humble guy, super knowledgeable!

A Cherokee Six once hauled 7 of us (including pilot) and ALL our baggage from Skagway Alaska to Juneau to catch up to the ferry we missed when the train engine broke an axle on White Pass. That was in 1974. I could not believe that little plane could take off with that load but it did with power to spare- awesome plane...and pilot!

Beautiful! I love the 235. We had a 1969 235C in the red and white with a little bit of blue on the tail paint scheme. Unfortunately it was burned by terrorists in 1977 during the Rhodesian Bush War. It was the only time I saw my dad cry. He replaced it with a Beech V35A, which in turn won its place in history as the first and only V-tail Bonanza to be equipped with twin .303 Brownings in pods under the wings. At the end of the war my father had to return it to its civilian state. After my dad passed in 1990 it was sold to a South African gentleman, who took it to Florida when he emigrated from SA.

Tom has two great aeroplanes and great taste! I love Cobras too - especially the earlier 289s. Nice guy he deserves it all, sounds like he's earned it👍😊😊

As a Texan, I was looking at the landscape off to the right, as he was about to take the active, ....and I was thinking "that looks like Texas"....then he said "and you can see Ft. Worth over there"!! What a super mellow guy, ...would be proud to call him a friend.

Love this PA-29-235 and miss mine. Best airplane I ever owned and flew. This one is really special and very well kept and maintained. Been watching this airplane for years. A special pilot and man. Love that new glass panel. Thank you for sharing.

I've flown cherokee 150's, 180's. I always wondered why they made a 235, and now I know. Beautiful airplane and a great ride along.

I flew one of these with a lot more payload than 1200 lbs. It handled very well. I've got many more hours in Cessna A/Cs but this is truly a well built and engineered aircraft and a lot of fun to fly.

I instructed for a Piper dealer/FBO during the ‘60’s. Flew all the Cherokees and Comanches. The 235 was my favorite Cherokee.
