Fix Roblox Not Launching on PC & Laptop 2024

In this video, I show you how to fix Roblox not launching on PC & laptop. This issue can typically be solved by uninstalling and reinstalling the Roblox application. To ensure that this process works you will want to remove the localappdata files for Roblox. These files are usually left behind when you uninstall Roblox, so you will need to remove them manually. Once you have uninstalled Roblox and removed the application files, you can reinstall Roblox.

Once you have reinstalled Roblox the previously deleted files will be recreated from scratch. In cases where Roblox isn't launching because of corrupt files this will fix the issue.

If you have has Roblox for a while and it now won't open then it's likely that uninstalling and reinstalling Roblox will fix the issue.

Another option is to use the Microsoft Store version of Roblox. This application is different from the standard application. This means that the not launching error won't affect this version of Roblox.

Using the Microsoft store version of Roblox will fix the Roblox not launching issue on Windows 10 and Windows 11.

I found a fix idk if it works for everyone but if you have a program like MSI afterburner running close it that’s a program that doesn’t allow Roblox to open. I opened it and Roblox wouldn’t start I then closed it and Roblox started launching every time now so if you have that program or a similar one close it
It could also be Riva tuner statistics that cause the problem

Update: For those who have to keep their software open for their pc to function properly then you would have to install Roblox from the Microsoft store instead of launching it from a browser so that you could still keep msi afterburner or riva Tuna open while playing Roblox

for some reason i can open the roblox player but when i click roblox private server links or any game using the chrome version of roblox, it doesnt launch. Any solutions?

If anyone has a relatively new PC, your issue might be a lack of drivers, what helped me was downloading the microsoft visual c++ drivers, 2015-22.

If you have a steering wheel connected it will automatically close the game if its not supported!!
