4 Dumb Cultist Things Car Guys Say...

4 Creepy Things Car Guys Say. Cult-like behavior, total cultist mindset towards Car Enthusiasm. Don't sign 29% APR on that Hellcat or tell yourself to not go hiking because it's too dangerous and scary. Car guys be wildin when it comes to doing anything other than cars. Have you ever had to help some of your terminally car brained friends date? It's a nightmare. Those Balmungs genuinely can't talk about anything other than vroom vroom, but no zoom zoom. Because you know better than I, that they have a Loud Car, but not a Fast Car.

Also random note, but I always intentionally left my age "Vague" as when I first started this channel before entering university, I was insecure about people thinking I was too young to own a Mustang. I ended up taking a year off between my University studies in order to pursue YouTube, and during that time, I earned the cash to buy a Corvette Z06, thus I made the "haha I'm a Corvette Mid-Life crisis guy in their 40s. It was life-changing and I'm forever grateful for the opputunity to go on this extended Side quest of a Journey that was this YouTube channel...but since I left my age so vague, people accidentally filled in that gap by assuming my "haha I'm 45 year old vette boomer meme" was my actual age. It's not. Anyone who has gone to a Car Meet will tell you, that I look pretty proto-typical of a 20-something American Asian Guy. Also yes, I'm Asian. I know I don't really vlog much anymore, but that's also something my newer fans don't really know. Come to think of it, my Gen Z audience is NOT going to read this description, so this entire section is pointless. Regardless, I'm trying to undo the unintentional misinformation that has followed me on my YT Journey. Funny how back then I was so insecure about being too young and not taken seriously, but now I embrace the passing of time. We're all going to be Corvette Boomers someday. So to all the 18 year olds calling me old for being in my 20s, see you in the same Retirement home big dog.

Some kids do be clowning people for not driving manuals and they themselves never to driven manuals themselves, and no Sim rigs don't count.

Worst argument I've ever seen was a kid saying " if you don't have a car, you don't know anything about cars " and i listened to this and thought, " kid, you are a 13/14 year old child, the only car you own is on Forza " 😂😂😂😂😂😂

It’s hilarious I’m a car guy, but my other hobbies are rollercoasters, tornado chasing, and my slam band. I legit told a car guy all my hobbies and he said “ you could use all that money on car parts”. Dude was legit appalled I had other hobbies that I spend the same if not more money on other than my car.

"Yeah, those are too dangerous."

As if strapping yourself into a 3000-4000 pound metal coffin for some hot laps isn't "dangerous".

you know you're a car guy when you see a Volkswagen beetle in original factory configuration and have mad respect for the owner's dedication.

There was a car meet near me today. Someone brought a McLaren. Someone else brought a riced out Ford Fiesta. Both cars were celebrated as expressions of automotive passion

too add to point #1, learning new different things literally keeps your brain fresh. When you're learning something new, your brain is literally rewiring itself and making new neural pathways, but once those initial pathways are set you'll eventually plateau. It's like going to the gym and doing only arms. You'd have strong arms sure but you're missing out on strong legs, core, stamina, flexibility, etc. It's also fun to learn something new, especially once you start getting good at it.

"You don't deserve that car"
tells me a guy because I drive safe and speed limit and I take it to the dealer for maintanance rather than doing it myself.... meanwhile he abuses his car, doesn't change tires and says "this car was built for this bro"

I work with a 89 year old truck guy. We are fixing up (really restoring) a 1949 chevy pickup. He has said he spent his drug and alcohol money on his vehicles. He definitely is mostly a car guy, but he is a machine guy. He raced, and apparently he knee the feel of the vehicles amazingly, but he just stopped racing dirt tracks and stuff. But he also says the best vehicle, is the one that is paid off. He has a credit card but has never paid interest. He is incredibly smart

Owning a luxury car or a JDM legend isn't a flex. Buying a house is, buy your dream house first then buy all the cars you want.

The worst one is the people who own a car and say that people who don't have a car are not allowed to have opinions on people's cars and their opinion is irrelevant. Then say that they're what's wrong with today's car community.
That's such bullcrap, saying someone's opinion is irrelevant because they don't have a car. It completely ignores the fact that it takes time to grow up and it takes money to buy cars. It really makes me upset. They are the absolute worst, and that kind of gatekeeping is the real problem with today's car community.

I don't get how people can wrap themselves up in one hobby and ONLY one hobby, I have like 6-7 hobbies and every person I've spoken to finds me interesting because of the hobbies I have. Plus if for some reason I wanna take a break from being a car guy or stop completely, I have 6 other things I can now devote time to.

kids have to realize being a "Car Guy" doesn't mean they need something like a Supra or a car entirely.

Honestly, I like vehicles on wheels. Bikes, motorbikes, motorcycles, trains…

I also enjoy walking around.

I enjoy cars too Ig

The most obnoxious thing about the car community is the dehumanization and harassment of people who prefer electric over gas and making their whole personality around hating EVs.
