Hi sir, Thank you so much for this @1st Class Maths, it has been really helpful! I was just wondering, for the vector question are we allowed to use comparing coefficients for gcse?

For question 21 I didn't use pythagoras to arrive at a radius of 6. I hastily scribbled a diagram of the triangle based on the unit square. When square root 72 is simplified it becomes 6 root 2. Since I know that the hypotenuse of a 45 degree right triangle is root 2 times the value of the other sides which are equal it was obvious to me that the value was six. Would I have lost marks for not using pythagoras to demonstrate that the radius is 6?

I labelled the drawing in the paper with radius for both OA and OB as 6 and demonstrated that root 72 is 6 root 2.

for the last question why did you label PM B instead if PQ?

Ah nevermind its a parrallelogram so the sides are the same
