For others (Command in Video):
1) sudo apt-get update
2) sudo apt install xrdp
(Enter "Y")
3) sudo systemctl enable xrdp
4) sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3
[Enter]
5) sudo apt-get install gnome-shell ubuntu-gnome-desktop
(Enter "Y")
6) sudo passwd ubuntu
Type password
re-type password
7) Exit

You just need to select 'RDP' from the drop down in the security group, don't allow all traffic. You also don't need to add the repo. For those that just want the commands, SSH into your EC2 instance and copy+paste:
sudo apt-get update -y && sudo apt install xrdp && sudo systemctl enable xrdp && sudo apt-get install gnome-shell ubuntu-gnome-desktop -y && sudo passwd ubuntu

Once you've set the password, reboot your instance on the console. You can then RDP using the Windows Remote Desktop Connection tool and your public IPv4 address.

Hey, can I then install ClouderaVm or any software on it? Like android studio or any other IDE's

For some reasons I am experiencing following issues:
1. SSH often disconnects with "Software caused connection abort"

2. Once I connect via RDP, I have to enter user password, and then the RDP shuts down without errors. Or sometimes there is an RDP Internal error

Do you know what can be done about that? Thank you!

Ok gui install but nothing is working not a single app is there and I can't even press shut down.
