Flew from Chicago two weeks before my wedding just to see this. Between thinking about how this could very well be the last chance I'd have to see him play live (but let's hope not) and the fact that Lucky Day is one of my top 3 favorite Tom Waits songs, I got a little choked up, and still do, watching him play this song. So happy someone posted this. May it never get taken down.

I was there, in the field seats. Not a few notes into "Tom Traubert's Blues", I recognized it and basically starting crying. With the *hundreds* of songs he had available to pull out, he did that one. I wasn't prepared for him to play it and came close to losing my sh*t. It. Was. Marvelous.

Did I mention that "Tom Traubert's Blues" is my *favorite* song by him?! Oh, right... I should have stated that earlier. I don't remember much of the rest of the set. I didn't need to remember anything else.

On 4:50 you can see the handsome devil on double bass. Its Les Claypool. Man, Tom plays with the best.
