Testing the Revenant kit and hunting morels

Had a lot of fun testing the revenant kit, searching for morels, and taking in the wild life.

I use three different type carry's. 1) My gear strap shoulder set similar to yours useing leather pouches and attachments... for checking out game trails, foraging, one day hikes/overnighters. 2) My modern maxpedition backpack, and pouches for extended woods excursions and camping trips. 3) My edc/ Bob bag option that looks like a normal over the shoulder clothes/travel bag that is very low key and does not bring too much attention. Saying that, all my sets basically have the same basic components that can be changed out and/or added too. Even from a sleeping/shelter need! Just like what you pointed out, testing is key as is the size and equipment needed for the duration and environment you are going to exist in! But, your versatile leather kit design has functionality, stealth, life long wear and tear, and definitely give the user a sense of being one with the past as well as being one with nature! And that my friend is why we all are out there to begin with! Again assume job, great video, feel better!

Great video, kit and observation Slow and careful through the woods surprising what what can been seen with a little care.Too many just take their surroundings for granted only getting a brief glimpse of the wildlife and true beauty of the countryside.Observation and understanding of that which is truly wild can only make us more knowledgable and better us at what we do.Couldn't have resisted following up n that cougar too ! Great video! I've watched all your leather working vids and they inspired me to make my own hatchet blade covers. I have to admit they're a little crude but they get the job done! I love your leather gear, I've been using alot of older military breadbags and haversacks but seeing your kit I'm thinking I'm due for an upgrade to some of your kick butt gear!!
