CORRECTION: Just wanted to say that during the first phase, the Fighter Pilot Bulldog will sometimes, but rarely not switch sides each attack. Felt like leaving this now just in case someone realizes that.

The only aspect of the fight you're missing is the secret mode where you take the Yankee Yippers *down* and NOT *out*. You can skip all the screen flipping altogether. It was the only way I could beat The Howling Aces on Regular. Is there a way to S-Rank them by using the secret mode or are you forced to deal with the screen flip?

I needed this a long long long time ago but I S ranked them without help lol. And I’d like to use spread to get massive damage and I used Ms Chalice for charm with either Super II or III

This was my favorite fight to S Rank. It was challenging but not super frustrating like some of the other bosses.

You forgot to mention that there's a secret phase for this boss. On phase 2, if you only get the 4 pups to grey smoke and don't bother killing them, The Pilot Saluki, aka Sergeant O'Fera will show up, and you won't get any of the rotations like you'd normally get in this fight if you did kill the 4 pups.

I do prefer charge + spread for this battle
The charge carries the entire battle, it takes out the puppies in just two shots and clears out the first phase easily.
I use spread to deal with the fire hydrants and against the bowl attack with the last dog.
I must say, I'm pretty bad at this battle, but not because the screen flipping, but because I have trouble against the lasers, I just don't know where they gonna shoot

I wonder if the fight is easier by going the "alternate" route of turning the four dogs into gray smoke. It looks that way but i wonder about statistically.
