The US space agency, Nasa, has revealed conclusive evidence of water on the Moon.

Unlike previous detections of water in permanently shadowed parts of lunar craters, scientists have now detected the molecule in sunlit regions of the Moon's surface.

But what does this mean for future missions to the Moon? And beyond?

And what else is on the Moon?

BBC Science Correspondent Laura Foster explains.

Video by Laura Foster, Terry Saunders and Mattea Bubalo.

Now let's see how long it takes man to pollute all the water on the moon.

How about we stop looking for other places in our solar system to mess, and fix the one we are currently living on. Just a WILD thought 💭
There’s still countries on earth that don’t even have access to clean water yet!

Random Fact:

Dolphins give each other specific names.
They create them through making certain sounds to each other to represent each dolphin.

If they looked on the other side, they'd find evidence of Autobots. ;)

Doubtless we'll end up making the Moon into as much of a rubbish dump as the Earth.

we've already achieved so much just in my short 2 decades on this planet imagine it excites me to think what we could achieve in another 2 decades especially if we could all just unify the earth instead of fighting each other over silly things constantly

Maybe we should just get ahold of what’s going on on earth first? 🤦‍♀️

More economical to launch missions from the Moon? Yeah, after the Billions it will take to set up and maintain a safe, functional moon base with a launch pad, crew quarters, all terrain buggy’s, support staff, scientists, laboratory, and the means to feed these people. Or will it be all unmanned? Still gotta build the launch pad first though. 🤔
