First of all, I would mention few important reasons to study in Denmark:

1. Denmark has at least 7 world-ranking universities, that means you may try to study in one of those.

2. Denmark is a Scandinavian country, which is part of Schengen area as well; that means you can travel to other Schengen country without any visa.

3. Denmark is part of EU country as well. So if want to but or sell anything within EU, then you won’t have to pay extra custom duty charges.

4. If you have residence permit or you are a Nordic citizen or if you are an EU citizen and planning to study in Denmark for more than 90 days then you would get medical treatment for free.

5. Around 86% of Danish people speak English as their second language, so it’s easier for international students to communicate with locals and find a decent job.

Top universities in Denmark:

There are many world-ranking universities in Denmark, such as University of Copenhagen, Aarhus University, Technical university of Denmark, Aalborg University, Copenhagen business school, University of Southern Denmark and so on.

Intake:
There are only 1 intake for English taught program for international students in Denmark. The application portal opens on 1st of February and closes on 15th of March. And you will receive response from the university on 28th of July.

If you want to get admission in a Bachelor program then you should have 13 years of education background. It means that once you finish your 12th grade, you should get admission in a university and study there for at least for a year. And you should have IELTS score overall at least 6.5, it can vary depending on the university you would like to get admission into.

And if you want to get admission in Masters program, you should have 16 years of education which is along with a Bachelor degree in similar field. And IELTS overall score at least 6.5 or more as it may vary depending on the university.

You can apply for up to 8 programmes at the same time. The Coordinated Admission (KOT) will ensure that you will not receive more than one offer for a study place (if there is any). The offer will be at the highest possible priority.

• If you apply for multiple programmes at the same educational institution, you will need to send multiple signature pages.

• You must sign the signature page by hand

• If you send the signature page by email, you will need to print the signature page, sign it, scan it and attach it in the email

• You must research deadlines for uploading documents and documentation requirements on the websites of the institutions.
