DIY FIXING BRAUN SHAVER Cleaning Station

Mine looks a little different and despite passing a pipe cleaner through the drain hole, it was splattering the EXPENSIVE cleaning fluid all over the counter. I undid the 4 clips and took off the top but eventually took out the phillips screw holding it together and found the overflow pipe to the reservoir was plugged as well. Reasonably well designed and fairly easy to clean it all out and put back together. It had been losing more and more of the precious cleaning fluid in recent months, but in recent days it got much worse and dumped half the reservoir before I could stop it. The cleaning fluid cartridges are $25 for 3 and don't last that long.

P Smith: About connecting the pump motor directly can answer the question if the pump is in working condition. Make sure you desolder one of the leads from the PCB to the pump, if you gonna test it. The problem also could reside on the PCB, if you put it back together and pushing the microswitch didn't do anything. But I'm no expert in fixing these, it was my first and only time trying to make it work. Sorry that I can't help you with your problem.

Hi Tony, thank you for the video. I watched all of them but I still don't understand what was the actual problem you had with this device? Mine is not working - light is on, but the pump is not working. What was the actual issue with yours and what is the actual solution: just putting the hot glue on the board and fix it in place?
