Thanks for sharing. I got a hug from Bob after a concert in upstate NY. It must have been in the year 2000 or close to that. It was a quick encounter. Bob was very friendly. I'm greatful

Ray, youre a master interviewer and I immensely enjoyed „Pledging…“. As an amazon reviewer wrote: Every Dylan fan has to have this book. Absolutely right. I even would say: Every fan of popular music has to own this book. It‘s that good!!! Many greetings from Germany and I‘m happy to see Bob on Saturday at his last tour stop in Germany in Düsseldorf.

So many of his songs have humor in them. Very tongue in cheek at times, more overt others. I wish he would be more personable at his concerts.

How come Jim Keltner never got full Wilbury status, with a cool nickname, like the rest of the band? I always thought he was shafted there.

I have never read any quote from Dylan that stated he was a Jesus freak. His first albums are full of references to God and Jesus, but no one said anything about it at the time.
