i like to carry a screwdriver at all times so i can just dismantle anything electronic i find as i’m exploring. it’s also handy if you keep a hammer on ur belt as well because you can use them combined to dismantle any doors that are locked

Dismantling machines on the conveyors gives you a good amount of xp too. Just visit a factory (especially the riverside manifacturer) and you will get lots of electrical exp

while on my loot runs I also activate the foraging screen, I also remove headlights radio's and battery's of any cars I find.
Then I dismantle the car radio and reinstall all else.
I also keep a wrench on me in case of locked trunks and I just uninstall the trunk lid to give me access.
Besides that dismantle radio's, tv's in the houses you loot.
I basically level 2 levels for each of those skills every run, then I just read the next skill book and level super fast.

The item I've found to have the highest XP value to dismantle is desktop computers.

If it is electric XP you are after and not materials - radios and TVs are much better dismantled while they are placed in the world as tile furniture. This way they give you 2.5 base xp. Meaning with the book you get 7.5xp per appliance and only need 10 units to get to level 1.

Also any car - including totalled wrecks - is a source of at least one radio. If you can't uninstall it - get into the car and unlock the doors. Or in case of totalled wrecks without functional doors - use mechanics window to smash windshield.

Motels and Hotels are the best for leveling up Electrical sue to them having multiple TVs, lamps, etc. which give more XP per dismantle than Watches and Radios.

Nice in theory, in execution I’ve dismantled nearly 200 watches, with skill books and Fast Learner, and I’m only at level 3 electrical.

Granted, most people only need 1 electrical for most game play purposes, but I like the idea of battery powered lights and the lessened load on my generators.

I don't think gold wristwatches can be dismantled. I read that only digital watches count (including dress digital watch, the gold variant) but not wristwatches on their own

But what do you do with all the parts that you get. I get to the point where I just leave them because I never use any of it besides light bulbs
