As a Korean that visited Japan a few times, people don’t know I can speak Japanese. I was with some Japanese people and just for fun, in a broken Japanese I said “hello, how are you” and they all smiled at me and said my Japanese was good but then the girl turned to her boyfriend and she said in Japanese “her Japanese sucks” 😭

I don't get whats so being mighty about learning Japanese "perfectly". They should understand that learning other language is not easy and only few people could do that, and even so they would not ve too perfect specially the accent.

It's actually funny they have the guts to bully others for not knowing their language while they, the Japanese can't do as well, and even when they leave in other countries for many many years, they could still not use R and L to some English words.

I was bullied in the US for not speaking fluent english. They really made fun on me and belittled me. They would say things like " I don't need to learn that shit" referring to Spanish😅well here I am and going on my 3rd language(nihongo) and those who bullied me still can't speak a drop of español😊😊😊
