The way Barbra emotes her physical being and and how she articulates it here adds depth to like this veritable love song it is. This clip stands apart. Note the intentional view of her stunningly beautiful profile as she finished that last line of the lyrics.

That is a young woman of beautify, self-awareness of who she is inherently ( and well before her time), on going places. She is the articulation of this beautiful song and she ma this whole scene an artistic composition. Nothing like a little black dress. Here, Streisand has realized she's a singular talent and her confidence abounds.

Of course while viewing this treasure, a treasure I should add that for all of it’s 55 years has not dated one single solitary day, I am raptly listening to the spellbinding performance. On the other hand I am in awe at her great beauty! Every inch of her something to marvel at! That glorious face, that figure, those shoulders and lovely lovely arms. Let’s not even mention the unparalleled hands. And then, with the greatest of artistry, she weaves every single aspect of herself, her beauty, her great poise, the curious knowingness that seems so beyond her years, her unrivaled instrument and artistry, to cast the sweetest and most enduring of spells. Long may she reign!!!

Why Did I Choose You is a personal favorite of mine and Streisand's timeless performance of it is the best Ive heard.

This is my favorite Barbra Streisand TV special, and it was her first. I didn't get to see it as a child but as an adult I discovered it and fell in love with it. This is probably my favorite tune from the show. Barbra's voice in her twenties was at its best. ❤️

A little over a year ago I watched the entire "My Name Is Barbra" on YouTube with the exception of the song, "How Does The Wine Taste, " which had been deleted from the program. Now the show is only available on YouTube in selected segments. Better than nothing, I would say.
