British head of state (Royal family ) is caste based. They get tense about pure blood (Royal) versus impure inferior blood (Commoners). For example a commoner can't ever be a King or Queen. Also, this extends to their upper house - House of Lords are all hereditary peers who inherit their position. What a joke, these people talk about caste system in India, where people of all backgrounds have become Prime Minister and President.

What I hate are their ridiculous protocols that serves to control how non-royal people act around them. It's frustrating when it's applied in other countries, especially republics/democracies that are sworn to treating all people as equal.

When hear an average English person say “God save the queen” I crack a smile. How is it possible for people still bow to another human in a 21st century western society. I am against kings and queens in general.
I am from Belgium and we are also a monarchy: we have a king and his entire family receives money for doing nothing.
Belgium, Netherlands and Britain have all a king/Queen who do nothing and have no power.
