Thank you Quebec, for having the nerve to start this debate seriously. As a Canadian, I fully support this.

It is about time! As a Canadian, we need to leave this colonialism. No benefit in being link to Charles.

I don't blame anyone who doesn't want to pledge allegiance to Charles.

The British should end the Monarchy. Outdated and an unnecessary financial burden to the people. Why pay these people for being seen and shaking hands?

As a Quebec-born Canadian, I support this message.

Absolutely… paying for their security whenever they come visit Canada is straight up ridiculous… especially those that already denounce their royal titles … our taxes can go to a million other things

Canadian monarchy is heritage and makes the country distinct. Being part of the commonwealth, Canada is part of an association of free nations. The Crown provides continuity. 🍁

Old news Quebec has been wanting to break away from Canada for years and yet a large number of Canadian prime Ministers come from Quebec. Also this is the French section of Canada and if you do not speak French thier a majority of the time you are treated with disrespect and unlike the rest of Canada everything is in French where most of Canada everything is in English in fact because I used to travel into Quebec a lot of times I had to learn how to speak some French. Why? Because in Quebec most people refuse to speak English so Quebec doing this is nothing new to me.

Quebec needs to decide if it’s a part of Canada if not go back to France. There are indigenous people you tend to forget who are the real first people of Quebec. They too should have a say about what happens.

It must be awkward for Canadians to have a foreign head of state ! So much for democracy!!

As a Canadian, I'd rather split ties with Truecastro and his Lieberals and Juhead.

About time! Monarchy in the 21st century 🤦 Canada having the monarch as the head of the state and pledging allegiance to that monarch is way too colonial for this era.
