Anyone thinking about this product needs to learn about rebreathers and talk to CCR instructors/divers that understand the these systems. There are many, many problems that would need to be overcome to make something like this viable and safe. I'm glad they are continuing to work on it but I hope they will not start taking orders for a long, long time and only after they address those problems - from WOB/counterlung position, grossly inadequate diluent volume, CO2 retention issues, inadequate provision for OC bailout, the use of volatile O2 generating chemicals that do not tolerate water well, flood recovery, etc. I'm all for "out of the box" thinking, but sometimes the "box" is there for a reason and cannot be ignored without compromising safety. That is the case here. If you're not a rebreather diver already, it's probably hard to understand all the potential problems with something like this, but take a look at some of the CCR-oriented discussion forums and you might have your eyes opened.

How do you adjust your buoyancy with such a heavy helmet and no BCD? How do you dive in cold water since you cannot have a drysute with this device?

Maybe you should contact Mares, so it maybe could be a real product five years from now, just as Mares bought rEvo 4-5 years ago and made a semiclosed version of the rEvo CCR recently.

To be honest: I really dislike the design. It seems to heavy and to overloaded. However I admire the technology.

Interesting concept, but you will never get this approved in 2020, this will take years, and never for 42 m without a bailout system. See how bad it went for the Apocalypse CCR 10 years ago.
You should concentrate to get it approved in Asia and Egypt/Red Sea as a "snorkeling" device for max 6 m, then you may have a chance.
BTW: I have worked 25 years as Civil Engineer with R&D for complex systems, the last 12 for medical devices.

never been a diver i;m skeptic about this desighn looks top heavy and why not a back up bottle of real oxygen put on the suit they make small bottles iv'e seen used and that is not balky at all.
