7.00! You stole it! I have the same compressor; it's excellent! That nail gun is still desirable because it fits in tight places. Vaughan hammers still made in USA and still excellent and a fantastic deal at the big boxes.

Apart from all of my Channellock pliers, I'd have to say my Bondhus Torx and hex keys are my favorites. I also have an old Craftsman 1/2' ratchet that I really like. Happy 4th, sir!

How light is that Senco? I used a Porter Cable clipped head framer recently and that damn thing got really heavy towards the end of the day. I knew there would be some Channellocks in this video... Kinsey condition, should bring top dollar if you were ever to sell to a museum one of these days.

md--I've found it pays to buy the best you can afford; the items work better, look better and you spend less down-time having them repaired.  The only thing I might do with the Senco is give it a new coat of paint.  I was surprised to hear that roofers like your Rol-Air compressor; it looks a little ungainly for that use.  I think most roofers opt for the pancake style for stability on a slant roof.  With the tank being small, it must run almost constantly to keep up with the demand.  It sounds like it meets your needs, however, and at a great price.  I've always liked U.S.-made tools; there's just something about the quality built in (better steel, better feel in the hand,  better design parameters).  Two manufacturers that come to mind right away are Snap-on and Harley-Davidson; there's nothing else quite like their products, and it's the reason they're so highly sought-after.

Happy Independence Day, good video topic. I am partial to my craftsman USA made socket set I bought in the fifth grade, older Williams ratchets, Lisle automotive specialty tools, Delta Rockwell stationary power tools. and both of my grandfather's metal cased double insulated hand power tools.
