My Observation
And means multiplication hoga, Hindi ka ya English me or hoga which is addition in logic.
Permutation -select and arrange
Combination -select only

Sir at 22:58 to select only person A always, first we have to select one person from all 10 persons na sir, then it will be 10c1 *1c1* 9c3 * 4!.. without selecting one person that is 'A' from all 10 persons, how can we guarantee that the person we are selected in the 9c3 is particularly person A

why i don't write 8C2*2!*3C2*2! after arrangement of x and y we have choice to arrange A or B in 3 places so why we can't write 3C2 instead of 3

Whether repetition allowed or not that doesn't matters in making words distnict
In both case all the generated words will be distinct only
Ex.we have a, b, c and we want to make 2 latter words so even with repetition 3*3 =9 words possible and check it all will be distinct aa, bb, cc, ab, ac, ba, BC, ca, cb
So, why in first que you took nPr instead Of n^r?
