What do you do when your students are simply learning to LEARN? You focus on the basics! This week, The Autism Helper Blogger, Jen, is sharing 3 simple classroom center ideas for her early childhood self-contained special education classroom. By minimizing transitions and writing at the start of the year and instead focusing on simple tasks and play students are able to more easily move into more difficult, academic-based tasks over time. I think this sounds perfect for my students. The issue is my self contained classroom does not have materials like that. I would need to purchase them and make them all. That is a lot of labor hours to create those books
