Hey bro you got to be remembering with power if you want to give a subwoofer true RMS power you usually want an amplifier that does double the rating because you're going to need to factor for the impedance rise the other aspect is you don't want to be pushing that amp really really hard if you get a bigger amplifier you can dial it back so there's more headspace in the amplifier but at the same time it's giving the subwoofer what it needs

That thing needs at least a 4k to even tickle it lol. Especially if the box is done right. Tuned correctly & so on.

Personally I’m running ZV5 18s in my Tahoe and I know they’re beefier but the X series follows suit and I’ll tell ya, they’re monsters, definitely recommend the X series

Actually you need a 3500w or 4000w amp a 2k is not enough because of impudence rise.

2k minimum but I would honestly put it on something like a three or 4K just because the amps won’t be pushing out a true 2000 W

Your gunna wannna pair that with way more than 2k to bring the pain. That sub will handle something close to 14, 000 watts in burst as long as your electrical is up to par.

Xv series subwoofers start minimum at 2000 rms I guarantee you they can take 3000rms comfortable underrated subwoofers notice they don't tell you what they peak at if they are made like dd subwoofers probably takes 4 times the power before they blow up
