What the NBA Community Really Thinks Of Alperen Sengun!

Hailing from Turkey, Alperen Sengun entered the 2021 draft with a lot of potential. Scouts were unsure what to make of this Turkish MVP because he never played in the college scene. However, it wouldn’t take long for everyone to see the flashes of greatness that Sengun possessed in his rookie year with the Rockets. Since then, Sengun has continued to improve his game and navigate the ups and downs of an NBA season. And the Turkish big man hasn’t disappointed as he’s essentially improved every aspect of his game and has shown the ability to be a centre-piece to a promising NBA squad.

Sengun's spin moves in the post are starting to look more deadly. His workouts with Olajuwon during the off season is starting to pay off.🚀

Dirk eventually praised Sengun after he put up 31 points and 9 rebounds against the Mavs and said, "I’m really impressed by his game, honestly. The versatility, the passing, the scoring… he’s having an incredible season. I’m happy for him."

One thing I love about alpi's playstle is how often he engages his offhand to play physical offense. Forcing his own space with a massive arm out during a spin or shoving the defender's arms down while dunking on them makes him look that much more dominant inside

What a great video about Alpi. He has talent, he has high game iq, he has been working hard since the beginning, he proofed himself as being mvp in one of the best and hardest leagues of Europe, Turkish Super League at the age of 18. The only thing he needs more courage and it seems it is what Ime is giving him. Also please consider how Houston bench is young and under the overall NBA level. Future is bright for Alpi.

He’s my favorite player that’s not a laker right now. I haven’t been super into bball lately but watching his game getting me back into it. He’s super nice to watch and skilled for a big. Hopefully he takes his talents to LAkers someday 😂

It is pleasing to see such videos about Şengün. As a Turk, however there is very little even Turkish content about him. So thank you for this video!

Sengun has Hakeem Olajuwan moves that I really love to see. Spin moves, fake pumps, great passing and footwork, leaning his back onto players and moving the opposite direction, and one leg fadeaway midrange shots, etc. He is just awesome!!! He really learned well under Olajuwan in the off-season he first got here.

We have this community for Alperen in Turkey. I am the discord administrator of this community, we gather together at night and watch matches. (We usually get angry with Jalen Green while watching) Alperen is our pride. We are sure that he will achieve great things.

You will see the real leap in him next year. Just put sharp shooters around him and let him do the rest. If you compare Jokic with his 21-year-old self, you can already see how much dominance Sengun will establish in the league.

Stephen Silas was ignorant. Literally was told to play through him and he thought nope... i got my way. Well Ime knew when he came in.... guess whats happening...

it’s obvious that he needs better shooters around. he often finds wide open guys but there is a lack of efficiency.

Play him as a 4 instead of a 5 and let him cook...
