The Importance of Personal Freedom | Chuang-Tzu and Taoism

Freedom is a popular topic in the world of politics, however, it can also come up in our interpersonal relationships. Maybe our friends or loved ones are making bad decisions and we believe we should act in their "best interest". However, there's obviously a tension between acting for someone's best interest and allowing that person their own freedom to make choices. Certain passages from the Daoist text, the Chuang-Tzu, seem to favor the side of personal freedom.
Some important points that come up are 1) that we may not know what is in our best interest, 2) that we should question whether decisions affect basic needs, and 3) that there may be an inherent value in freedom.

I would love a video on the philosophy of veganism.
and your personal belief when it comes to non human animals.
i would say the differences is not the important part. but what we share.
and if you grant me this just for now.
they are individuals not objects,
they have a individual experience.
they like being happy and dislike being sad or in discomfort or pain.
and that we can live without consuming animal products.
if someone in the world need to do X that does not mean i can point to them as a token for my own actions. as i am not them.
if this is true then don't you think that we ought to not cause someone harm when we don't need to?

even if there's a need i think it can be questionable.
killing in self defence is usually not a moral bad IMO.
but if let's say i go out with the reason to use a gun in self defence to kill. and somehow make a scenario were i kill in self defence then that i would say can be a moral bad.
so if i have access and are able to avoid this harm. then me activity going out to cause harm that would be not good.

would like to see your opinion on carnism.
as most people are brought up in to that belief.
and then think their actions are inactions as it's the norm.
but a inaction would be not consuming animal products.
just like not kicking a cat is a inaction.
it's neutral.
veganism is not a doing it's a non doing.
helping a cat is a action.
just like saving animals or doing vegan activism is a action.
but veganism itself is nothing more than inaction.
i don't consume animal products vs i consume animal products.
if my actions causes harm i need to justify said actions.
right?
