I was living in Japan for a while last year and I was desperate to go to Fuji-Q Highland, but I ended up not having enough money. I did however manage to ride the Thunder Dolphin at Tokyo Dome City and that was incredible. It was a super smooth ride, and really exhilarating. Loved it!

So I've recently started playing Planet Coaster; wanting to find inspiration from real life coasters. Naturally I found your channel and love it dude. Keep it up man!

I'm getting a little old for coasters but I LOVE the Thunder Dolphin! Once you get past the height you realize how amazing the view is!

I was in Japan for 3 days on business. Everyday I'd walk back to my hotel and I'd see Thunder Dolphin but had no idea how to get to it ( I was GP). I kept asking anyone at the hotel how to get there and ride it. I finally did on my last night there, it is an incomparable experience. Going through the ferris wheel and building is nuts and the first drop is intense.

I’m living in Japan for a few years and just got on Thunder Dolphin for the first time. Excellent first drop, and the fly-through elements with the building and Ferris wheel are solid, but it does lose a bit of steam on the second lap while it’s on top of the building. I’m planning to get out to Fuji Q next month and am super jazzed. Once travel is safe again, you should make a Japan coaster pilgrimage!

Whenever one of these types of videos is posted I don't watch it, I have to go to my kitchen get some chips, go the living room, connect my phone to the tv and then watch it.

I love Fuji Q Highland! The coasters are awesome, the views of Mount Fuji are stunning, and it's super cheap (~$60). I loved Dodonpa, but I actually though Eejanaika was the most intense in the park. ^.^

The video game one looks fun. I just went to Disney World and since I’m in a wheelchair, we got to experience some pretty unique ride versions, including one where my wheelchair went straight into the ride car then turned on a turn table to face forward. But the best one was the Toy Story arcade game ride. I was taken up a side ramp and they have a separate train for handicap guests that has 2 cars on it that can be pulled off the main tracks. This meant we had all the time in the world to board, which was nice as I had to transfer from my chair for that ride. Once into the ride, my mom noticed a big difference in the actual cars of the train- instead of having to pull a cord to fire the cannon to play the games, we had simple press buttons on top. It was a nice feature and after long days with wore us both out, it was nice to have a simpler control option. (I never would have noticed since I’d never been on the ride before. My mom goes often, however, and was familiar with the normal controls.) But best of all? No one else in a wheelchair was waiting when we got back to the station, so we got to ride twice!

I went on the thunder dolphin ride and it was amazing! it was actually much higher then I expected. And yes I can confirm they were very wary about possible items that could fall out. I had to take everything off from necklace to rings and glasses but I guess that's to be expected.
