What's a Döner Kebab? (#1 Street Food in BERLIN)

If you've ever been to BERLIN, then you already know how popular (and freaking) tasty a DÖNER KEBAB is... It's the #1 street food of the city and you can find them almost on every corner.

But I know you might be confused, because the Turkish people invented the (original) kebab... but after WWII, loads of Turkish immigrants flocked to Berlin and here, they put a modern spin on their classic kebab and they called it a döner kebab. In all honesty, it's one of the best things you can possibly eat!

Fun fact well I think it is: In Turkish the word dön means spin and döner mean spinning so the food is called döner because the meat spins to cook. I am Turkish

I grew up when Döner Kebab became popular in western Germany so from a young age it changed from going getting Fries & Currywurst with my dad to getting Döner Kebab for the whole family. I honestly ate around 500 Döner Kebab in the last 15-20 years and you‘re hardly getting tired of it. We don’t need no burger here 😂💪🏽
