Universal's Hotels Keep Blowing My Mind -- Sapphire Falls Resort Tour

We are back with another Universal Orlando Resort tour! Molly is headed to Sapphire Falls Resort to see if this is a good choice for your next vacation. She'll check out the pools, do a full room tour, getting up early to help you plan your morning at the Universal parks! SPOILER ALERT: We also find one of the best hotel restaurants...ever?

Of all the hotels at Disney and Universal, Sapphire Falls is our go to favorite for all around quality, value, theming, service, and amenities. In general, we have always found the Lowe’s/Universal hotels to be better than the Disney hotels when we compare quality, amenities, and value. Lowe’s knows the hotel business.

I *never* unpack when I travel either! Just live out of my suitcase. It seems like soooo much effort with very little reward to move things to dressers or the closet.

I stayed at Surfside last winter and was blown away. Beautiful, clean, and best of all CHEAP! Since it was a ‘value’ resort, I stayed in the 1 bedroom, living room/kitchenette which had 3 queen sized beds. And it was only $160 a night. The only downside to that universal hotel was there was no hot tub! Huge pool, ginormous pool area that could fit like 15 hot tubs, but there was no hot tub.

I'm staying at Sapphire falls in October and going to univeral studios park and HHN. I'm so glad you did this hotel, as I have public/crowds anxiety and social anxiety. You showing me what to expect, cuts the anxiety in half, and that is one of the many things I do to manage my anxiety. Lots of prep work, research, making lists and exposure therapy. We just came back from our second stay at Cabana Bay with a Volcano Bay view room and while we're both also huge Disney fans, Universal's competitive pricing is really, really making it hard for us to justify Disney hotel prices, just because you get so much more for your money at Universal.
