Journee Smolett is one who should have been a hollywood "ingenue" and leading lady as they call the young wyte women. She was definately discriminated against as producers were always able to find a new, blond, skinny even foreign woman to cast in roles that Journee already had proven she could do. Hollywood still has an issue with a black woman as a romantic lead having a white leading man.
