This is by far the best cooking channel I've seen on YouTube. Every damn recipe this man makes looks absolutely delicious and somehow he manages to explain even complicated recipies in so simple ways. I wish this channel a lot more success to come!

One of the best parts of these videos is your reaction to the taste test. Great recipe find, by the way. I've made them the hard way. Will enjoy trying this one!

I make this ones a bit different. I add vanilla, a bit of baking powder and a bit of lemon zest. After dip frying i bake them couple of minutes on a rack to make sure are done inside.

Just made these this morning and they will be a staple. I had to use cottage cheese (US), but putting it in a blender with the sugar did a trick.
Thank you for the recipe!

Confectioners sugar (10x) is what we use on our beignets in New Orleans instead of granulated sugar.

I had to make my own ricotta so it took a little more time and complexity, but totally worth it! Thank you, Chef!

Ooo, now, there's a treat for this weekend, that's a lazy Sunday if ever there was! Wonder how they'd go with flavourings; cinnamon, chilli, etc as well in the dry mix. 🤔

Wondering if adding baking powder (single or double) or baking soda would work to “lighten” the batter?

I used ricotta, it worked perfectly. Wee! Wee! Ha. Thanks Chef, the donuts did dance in the oil.

We got something similar here in Franken(province of bavaria germany) called Quarkbälchen/Feuerspatzen. There is a swiss/austrian/south bavarian variant Quarkknödel which uses semolina instead of the fine textured flour which is also amazing.
I love those but yours seem to have less ingrediences and i will give it a go :)

Ive seen these nade eith yogurt. I haven't tried them yet because yogurt doesn't last long here between me and my grandson any vanilla yogurt goes quickly. One day, maybe, one day. Im hopeful.😂😂

I'm glad this one is easier! The Corsican Ragout was very difficult (but also the most delicious thing I've ever made!). Please do more recipes from Corsica and any handmade pasta. Also for summer could you please add edible flowers to dishes other than salads? I added some yellow nasturtiums on top with your lemon herb pappardelle. Fabulous🌼
Garnishing ideas for desserts would also be much appreciated. Cheers from Berkeley CA!
