Thanks for the video! I'm a seventeen year old film scorer from Berlin. I'm currently planing my Pacific Crest Trail hike. And instead of taking hundreds of photos I'm going to try and focus on sound – because I just feel it is so underrated. We don't want to just be reminded of the places we went, but actually get to go back there. And with sounds, whenever you feel like it you can put on your headphones and disappear. I want to record sounds I encounter on trail and add musical elements/ responses on top using a basic synth/ midi controller. Unfortunately I can't bring my Mac because that's WAY too heavy. Any tips on portable working setups. I have an iPad that I would like to use. Like I said, I want to record sounds (I'm looking into different tascam models) + process and edit them on an iPad Pro app (any suggestions?) and then bring along a very lightweight midi controller or synth to layer brief musical responses (for now, i'm thinking a seaboard - any other suggestions). Could such a setup work? I want a lot of artistic freedom without carrying something too heavy...
