Contrary to scripture, old earth creationists and theistic evolutionists often claim that there were animals dying long before Adam and Eve. But did creatures just live happy peaceful lives and then quietly die? What does the fossil record reveal?

Mice can give birth to 70 more mice in a single year. If mice were created to never die, how many years would it take for there to be trillions upon trillions of mice covering this planet. How long would it take those mice to strip a forest of it's plant life, leaving the slower moving, slower reproducing animals to be without resources and starve? That doesn't sound very good either.

So Gen. 6:17 says God's will was all nephesh was to die, yet one of you admits that some nephesh sea creatures probably survived. To systematize Scripture 100% is practically impossible. And when others fail, calling "accomodation" can be hypocritical. Who doesn't do some ? Jack Wilmore

Was it "very good" that a lying creature was in paradise slandering God and attempting to deceive man? Was it "very good" that Satan lied, misrepresented God's heart and twisted God's word? Was all this "very good" too (Gen. 1:31) ? Jack Wilmore

It appears that the cycle of life was built into creation from the beginning.

John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

1Corinthians 15:36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:

Wasn't Adam created mortal? Did not Adam have to eat and drink to live? If Adam jumped out of a high tree headfirst onto a big rock would he not have died?

Also, it is clear that Adam could have lived forever even after sinning.
Genesis 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

I'm looking into the evidence of a six 24-hours days creation and evidence that radiometric methods don't work. I've heard some of the evidence for a young earth and I'm yet to be convinced. I don't know where the 4.6 billion years for the age of the earth comes from but it seems to be the consensus. Thanks for the video, I'll continue to do my research

If bugs aren't "life" then Adam and Eve may have stepped on a bug on day 1 of their lives?

"This is now the second letter that I am writing to you, beloved. In both of them I am stirring up your sincere mind by way of reminder, that you should remember the predictions of the holy prophets and the commandment of the Lord and Savior through your apostles, knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires. They will say, “Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.” For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God, and that by means of these the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished. But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly." - 2 Peter 3:1-7 ESV

This prophecy has been fulfilled. Christianity and most of the world has forgotten about the pre-flood world. This precedes the world's doom because mankind was willing to forget it to justify their own pleasure. They think the world was always in sin and death and therefore that is the norm. But sin was not God's intention and we need to work to strive to be like Christ (after accepting Christ as out savior through faith) now that we are mired in it. But if old age or evolution is true, then we can just take in pleasure as we wish at all times because death was the purpose of God or the universe.

Old Earth is possible, IMO, because - when God says everything was very good, I think "very good" means all was under Adam's deputy authority. Whatever the situation, as long as Adam was the authority, all was and would be "very good". That Satan (whatever his influence past or present) was under man, was very good. Jack Wilmore

Are worms "life"? Many have blood.

As jellyfish are animals but don't have blood, did they die before "the fall"?

The gap theory of Genesis 1.1 and 1.2 is supposed biblically . The bible speaks of 2 floods one were everything on earth is COMPLETELY DESTROYED and the flood of Noah where trees survived the flood .

Jeremiah 4.23 to 27

23I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.
24I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.
25I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.
26I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger.
27For thus hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.

There is no place in the bible other than Genesis 1.2 can fit this description and the same exact wording is used .
Then we have 2 Peter 3.5 to 3.8 that speaks of different ages and the first being COMPLETELY DESTROYED BY WATER, the flood of Noah did not destroy everything because of Noah and the ark .

5For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

The word perished in verse 6 means total destruction

G622 - ἀπόλλυμι
Transliteration: apollymi
Pronunciation: ä-po'l-lü-mē
Part of Speech: verb
Root Word (Etymology): From ἀπό (G575) and the base of ὄλεθρος (G3639)
Outline of Biblical Usage:
to destroy
to put out of the way entirely, abolish, put an end to ruin
render useless
to kill
to declare that one must be put to death
metaph. to devote or give over to eternal misery in hell
to perish, to be lost, ruined, destroyed
to destroy
to lose
The earth is older than 6000 years but it most likely is not billions or even millions of years old, we have 6000 years since Adam but the recreation started 7000 years before that, Adam was created on the 8th day .

Wow, the mental gymnastics you guys do in this video to stick with the genesis myth is outstanding. Take a break, you must be tired.
