My mom wouldn't buy me new shoes for school or basketball at 12 years old.... I had the same shoes for 3 years....My coach, amazing woman whom is my friend today at 36 years, and asked me not to name her, got both my big toes ingrowns out, released the pus and bought me shoes that I won't tag her but thank her there could be so many people named her name. Probably because kids shoes these days are literally plastic on a cardboard sole... their feet slide around and their little toes get mashed.

According to the Brasilian Portugese above, it may well be a young kid. Will you be able to explain, Professor Wagner, why ingrowns are common in teen population? My best bet is because they live yearlong with sneakers that clutch the foot. I seldom see young people in sandals, especially boys.
My husband only wears big athlete shoes. Drives me crazy!❤
