Hot Wire Styrofoam Cutter

How To Make Hot Wire Foam Cutter. In this video I show how to make a hotwire foam cutter for cutting styrofoam or EPS foam which stands for Expanded Polystyrene. Making a foam cutter is not as hard as it sounds. I used Nichrome wire to make my hotwire foam cutter which is the best method for cutting styrofoam. This is a great DIY project and if you are needing to cut styrofoam, this is how to do it!.

You can build a foam cutter in a couple of hours with the correct supplies and the price is not bad, under $50 for sure! later in the video I also show how I made a hot wire foam cutting table saw for ripping sheets of styrofoam.

Please redo this DIY tutorial; you need to go a lot slower when showing the wiring connections of the black and red power wires, the power switch wiring, and the power supply wiring because for many people, electrical wiring can be visually complicated to follow and understand what wires are being connected to other wires, power switch, power supply, etc. Talk slower, slow down the video recording and pause longer during each video still shot of the connecting of the wires, switches, power supply, etc. The video does not show how you implemented your hot wire foam cutter to a table to cut long styrofoam sheets. Please redo this DIY video for your viewers. Thank you
