Am thinking that the building was made for social events such as Ceremonial practicing of their faith. 🤔

Is it possible that this was only used on special occasions, to meet with other clans. Like a place to converge with the clans that they would otherwise fight or be warring with? A place that they would have to have a truce at, while there?
So only used on rare occasions and not lived at?
Just a theory
