as a dedicated member of the osu! defense, 95% of us never took it that seriously, it was just fun for us to come to together and do something as a community. I know Eman (the guy who organized it all, not btmc) dedicated literally hundreds of hours to it, and he never expected it to be so successful and impactful in the community, so him being emotional is kinda understandable. most of us were just chillin tho and most of us have nothing against X’s community, if anything the “drama” brought more attention to the game we love and might help it become more popular, and X got views from it so win win. 🤝

If you spend time organizing and coordinating something and see a community come together to make it work, I don't see how that wouldn't make someone happy. I think most people think he's crying over pixels when in actuality he's just happy the community worked together on a project he enjoyed working on alongside his team.

As someone who watches both communities we all know that it was just an event. Both osu and xqc knew that it was all in fun and the dedication was just a part of it. Really hurts that people insult just because some community is more dedicated than others, its just toxic and cringe.
