How to Evaluate Your Own Level of English - Watch this to Find Out (A1-C2)

The European Framework for Languages can help you with this. There are six levels in total:

A1: Beginner - This is where you can use very simple expressions. You need the other person to speak slowly.

A2: Elementary - This where you can understand frequently used expressions and can talk about simple things.

B1: Intermediate - You can deal with most situations when traveling and give explanations for opinions and plans.

B2: Upper Intermediate - You feel confident in most situations and can speak with a certain level of fluency.

C1: Advanced - This is fluency. You can use the language in a flexible way in many situations.

C2: Proficient - Understand everything and you speak like a native.

Got my results yesterday. It was the first english Proficiency test I ever took in my life. It was from the Cambridge format and I got a C2! Just wanted to tell everyone that I almost didn't interact with speakers of English and never visited any country in the Anglosphere. All I got was books, songs, movies and a dictionary. You can immerse yourself in all kinds of knowledge if you use the internet for that. Know that the best teacher at the end of the day is you, and the function of the one who teaches is to guide you, so you can have any other type of guide and with the right motivation you'll achieve what you seek. Never lose hope, even if there's no English speakers around, you still can hear them on youtube, copy the way they pronounce in the songs they sing, comprehend a deeper shade of meaning via idioms. Hello Jack! I'm from Russia. My name is Vitaliy. I'm a tourist bus driver. I usually have a lot of tourists from different countries. But now because of the coronavirus there is no work at all. I decided to learn English while I have time. It's good for my job and abroad trip. I want to speak English it's my old dream. I had several attempts. But this time I got serious. I started in march and I still doing it. It's just I hear the teacher but now I'm learning by myself. My teacher is at university and she doesn't have time for me. She's a student. She learn five languages. I started with elementary and now I have b1. I watch your videos often. I write what you say and then I translate the words I don't know. I try retell. This is difficult for me. Your videos help me. It's very interesting and helpful. Thanks a lot for your work. Now I'm looking for a new teacher. I have a strong motivation. No it has become my hobby. I like it. I would help me a lot if I had a native English speaker. I don't lose hope and believe that one day I will speak English fluently.
