Controlling Phragmites

Показать описание
An invasive species of reed from Eurasia, phragmites has spread across much of the U.S., driving out native plants and wildlife. In the Chesapeake Bay area, the number of acres of marshlands covered by the reed has multiplied 10 fold since the 1970s. Maryland wildlife regulators are trying to control it with an herbicide called glyphosate, commonly used on farms under the brand name "Round Up."
