How to use Overdrive on a Kobo e-reader

Many Kobo e-readers can now browse your local library, checkout and then read ebooks right on the device. This video will show you how to enter your library card and four digit pin number and browse for books that you are interested in.

This video also outlines how to return books early and then delete them off of your e-reader. Overdrive functionality is in the Kobo Clara HD, Kobo Aura Edition 2, Kobo H2O Edition 2 and the Kobo Aura One

So what happens when a book expires or the license is taken from me and I am not done with the book? I am a very slow reader and it takes me a long time to even pick up a book. for example I the last time I picked up the book I am reading now was two months ago. So I suspect this will not change when I get my Kobo. Will Kobo remember my spot in the book? or will my progress be forgotten?

I added local library to overdrive in the kobo h2o ed 2 booк, but cannot see borrow from overdrive menu item on any book. the menu item is not there... Any ideas?

Do you know how this will work if you have to put a book on hold and wait for it to be available and then the library contacts you when it is available? Will you need to drag and drop from adobe, or will adobe not recognize the device?

Can't for the life of me figure out how to borrow a library book that was on hold and now ready. I don't see the option in Kobo, can only download books that are available now? What about my holds that are ready?
