22 days to go until the final physics exam... I have spent 2 weeks revising physics for 12 hours a day yet I cannot solve past paper questions with proper application. May the centripetal force in this question be with me

In question 2a why is the arrow is going only to the left. I thought that since he isn’t flying into the center there would be another force (centripetal force) to balance it?

i dont know if im mistaken or if its a typo but how did in question 2)b) the r become R when creating the relationship between mg/static friction = mrw^2?

Hi, I understand interactions under this video are a little old now, but hopefully you see this and clarify my doubts.
I have some issues in framing the model for question 1. This is what I came up with:

* the problem considers air as an object of a certain mass that gets accelerated from rest to a final velocity. It is basically a one dimensional motion, frictionless, no potentials, despite gravity acting on the other object (the aircraft).

* work is done on that mass to accelerate it, but afterwards the motion of air is constant velocity, no work done, frictionless...

* the final situation is that the momentum acquired by the mass at certain velocity is the result of the average force exerted to accelerate it and this force equals the pull of gravity on the aircraft + package for eternity afterwards.

* there is some mechanism, the blades maybe?, that converts the momentum of the air mass into a force exerted on the aircraft to keep it hovering

* the energy associated to the air mass is purely kinetic, gravity is neglected

Are these the right assumptions? (This bends my mind really hard)

in 2(b) after you stated the necessary centripetal force was N=mg/coeffient of friction, how did you equal it to the centripetal acceleration in the next step? what i would have done is use N=ma and compare the acceleration from this equation from the one in the data booklet, and in the data booklet isnt a =omega^2r ... not momega^2r ? sorry thanks for these videos i just didnt understand that part

shouldn't the 1.7v add with mg since they are in the same direction?

for 1(b), wouldnt the upwards force be equal to the initial weight of the aircraft + the weight of the package and string, since they were in equilibrium?

where can I find the papers and markschemes from?

For 1(b), shouldn't the upward lift force be 1.7 x 9.8 instead of 1.4 x 9.8?

Hey I was wondering if you have the rest of paper 2 HL physics

Why can't we use P=Fv in question a iv.?
