What happened when Tai Lung and Oogway both entered the Spirit Realm? Did they fight one another again in a massive battle? Did Oogway eradicate Tai Lung completely like Po accomplished against Kai? Or did something else happen all together?

Yeah, I wish we had furthered Tai Lung’s story to see his understanding of his place in the world.

When it comes to the villains of kung fu panda movies, Tai lung I felt like the only one of the three villains that could possibly find redemption.
Shen May have found peace in his death.
And Kai was too much of a threat to allow existing even in the spirit realm.

But I think it would’ve been neat if at some point Poe once again found his way into the spirit world. And before he could summon himself back to the mortal realm Tie lung Would show up, demanding a spar.
And though the fight wouldn’t be any less epic Poe would be able to tell that his opponent isn’t as angry as he used to be.
And then afterwards they could finally talk.
Maybe even Tai lung talking about how he ran into lord Shen.
And that he saw everything while he was a jade pendant by Kai.
Essentially meaning he knows what a great warrior Poe has become.
And the fact that the panda was able to accomplish some of the same tasks that he could not.
After all they were both abandoned and adopted.
Maybe even Tia lung becomes humble acknowledging that Poe truly is the dragon warrior.

Two words: "It's nothing!" When Tai Lung saw that he couldn't gain anymore power from the scroll, he saw that his mission and what he saw as his destiny all came down to him instead of for great power. I agree that Tai Lung would seek out peace from máster Oogway, because his life of destruction and greed went nowhere.

If only Tai Lung wasn't so forgotten, and cast off as a villain, because he's not, he's a fallen hero who's long gone, who feels abandoned and blinded by fear and by neglect, who shadows himself as someone who will do literally anything to please
That makes me wonder that if he's not such a bad guy, there could be a possibility that he's in the spirit realm right now contemplating on his wrongdoings

I have to say I did like your nuanced perspective. In the original film for a moment in the fight with Shifu, it seemed like Tai Lung may have had redemption. I sort of like the idea of semi redemption for Tai Lung, as from his viewpoint, he was the hero.

I believe Tai Lung could find inner peace because he wasn’t fully evil
When shifu talked to TL about how he was the reason TL turned out that way, TL showed a soft face towards his father figure showing that he still had some purity in his heart
Master Oogway definitely could’ve worked with that so I believe TL changed his ways off screen

For me, I imagine the confrontation playing out like this: Tai Lung sees Oogway meditating and attempts to use his nerve attack on the turtle. However, the attack fails because Oogway no longer has a physical body. So Oogway just smiles as Tai Lung frantically jabs at him, saying "Hello Tai Lung. It is good to see you again." Enraged, Tai Lung goes all out on Oogway, screaming about how the turtle robbed him of his destiny. Oogway effortlessly blocks all of the Leonard's attacks until Tai Lung wears himself out. Once the fight had gone out of Tai Lung, he begs Oogway to just destroy him, as without the dragon scroll he no longer has purpose. Helping the leopard up, Oogway explains the message of the dragon scroll, how anyone can unlock their true potential if they only try. He then offers to show Tai Lung how to harness chi, which the Leopard reluctantly accepts.

4:18 I absolutely agree with you on that Multi I mean I myself love a well done redemption for certain villains but there are points where I’m like “Yeah can’t we just let villains be evil? Or at least too set in their ways and they’re just unwilling to change.”

He and Tigress I wanted more of a backstory for and extended on. Tigress, Po and Ti Lung all were abandoned and mentored by the same master.

After watching this video, it makes sense that Tai Lung was afraid of the Wuxi finger hold and the fact that he couldn't become the Dragon Warrior. I feel bad for Tai Lung if he had been spared of the Wuxi hold, I think he could have been redeemed. But at last, he can't.

I feel like he would have searched for inner peace. Tai Lung still had glimmers of humanity within him before he was skadooshed.

I imagine that if Tai Lung ever bumped into Oogway he would have just felt neutral towards him after so long both being a villain and spending time in the spirit realm. He is unable to really reform, but he can calm down a bit after just knowing that he has to stay in the spirit realm since he has no way out.

They should have showed Tai Lung, while heavily injured, running from General Kai, only to be caught & turned into an amulet then in another scene we see Kai fighting Oogway

I was just looking at the movie and saw this video I want to believe that he found peace I like people to find peace in their lives because who wants to live in agony and angry and the terrible emotions they felt living on the earth I want to believe he found inner peace and deserves happiness because he wasn’t ruthless to an extent he looked as if when he was talking to shefu he looked close to forgive but he was in anger and in mental turmoil

Also Issac did you see the comment I made on the video about Tai Lung’s nephew?
If you haven’t here are my thoughts on the matter.
I really don’t think it makes sense for Tai Lung to have a nephew when he was adopted from infancy with absolutely no connection to his biological family and the fact that his nephew apparently wants to be like him is kinda troubling given that Tai Lung turned out to be a psychotic monster. This is the same problem I have with Zira and the outlanders in Simba’s Pride where their whole purpose and existence doesn’t really sink well with the original movie.

Wait, when Po defeated Kai and the Chi of all the masters were like back to the spirit realm, does that mean Tai Lung is still alive in the spirit realm? And possibly return?

Honestly I wouldn't mind a series set in the spirit realm focusing on all those masters before and/or after Kai's inevitable defeat if it meant we got more of the snow leopard, because I do feel he'd grow under the guidance of Oogway who wouldn't try to mould Tai Lung in his own Vision like Shifu had.

Tai Lung wasn’t an enemy, we was just angry and felt betrayed by his only family then cast aside
