What's causing the Niland Geyser to move?

Niland Geyser and Salton Sea Mud Pots
The geyser in Niland California is moving about 10 feet per month right now. Officials believe it's from all the seismic activity in the area. The geyser is located in the middle of SR 111. Caltrans has had to relocate a portion of the freeway to detour around the giant hole. The railroad tracks have also been relocated further over from the pit. For now, no one can tell what Mother Nature has in store for this moving geyser.

How bad is it in California when even the mud geysers try to leave the state?

The East Pacific Rise crustal spreading center runs up through the Gulf of California and into the continent along the Salton Sea. The hot springs and mud volcanoes are driven by the magma that is moving up as the Gulf and the Salton Sink are being stretched wider. SoCal and Baja will eventually have a wide sea between them and the rest of the continent.

You sure do have caricature vision! I would not be surprised from all of the crude oil being refined from the Earth's core, it's the water replenishing it's void and reacting. Like frying a frozen turkey 🦃 lol
