Solving algebra fractions with a quadratic - GCSE maths level 7+ - hard!

This video is all about solving algebra fractions with a quadratic and forms part of the playlist with the same name. I've also added to the playlist on GCSE higher revision.

The question is fairly difficult and you need to be confident with factorising and manipulating fractions:

3/x+3 + 2/x+2 = -10/x+7

or

three over x plus three plus two over x plus two equals minus ten over x plus seven

Liked the video but realized it only works for certain equations doesn’t work for all different types of fractional equations. Please help me by finding out how to do these equations much easier.

Do you have any videos on cross multiplying. I want to get familiar with it. I was wondering what you did there but realised that you removed the denominators by * by all denominators to remove the denominator.

On (4:41) does it matter which way you take away? and ik x^2 has to be positive. But will you still get the same answer

Hi how did you get the denominator as x+7? shouldn't it be something like x-6?

I am stuck on a question that I'm doing. When I get to -2xsquared-7x-24 I don't know how on earth to turn the -2xsquared into a positive. It's probably easy but I just can't do it. The question is 1over x+3 +1over x+4 =2.

i dont understand how does -10 + 5 = 15 at 5:07 it doesn't make sense
