We had a mouse running around in the basement where my bedroom is, for 5 days despite having 5 of the Victor Multiple Catch Mouse Trap M333 set in all the areas we had seen it. I watched your video this morning so we picked up 2 of the Tomcat Live Catch Mouse Trap based on your recommendation. Within 20 minutes we had the little guy caught!!! I'm so happy, I can sleep in my bed again without having to worry about a mouse running over me in the night. Thank you much!!!

Thank you for the great channel and a concise review of these traps. I went with the Tomcat live catch and it worked well got the mouse within hours with some PB bait. Helped me and my wife! Keep up the great work.

First, I really enjoyed your videos and they were helpful - keep it up. I purchased both the Mice Cube and Tomcat. The mice cube has worked great and captured more than 13 mice so far without any issues. The Tomcat caught one mouse successfully then the second mouse was able to chew through the door area and escape. It seems the plastic and door closure area on the Tomcat are easy for them to chew where the plastic used in the mice cube is not. Thanks!

I've used the Mouse Cube with good success in the past.  However, I apparently have one (or more) really smart mice this season - they are somehow getting out of the Mouse Cube.  I know they've gotten in because the bait is gone.  The only way I can figure they are getting out is by sliding their little paws in the small gap between the door and the side of the cube to open the door.  (I learned in the past that they can sometimes get out by flipping the cube over on it's side when they're trapped inside - solved this problem by putting some sort of weight on top of the cube so they can't flip it over.)

Just put airholes in the mice cube, makes it way better

I just started using the Tomcat trap in my garage. Got it at Orchard Supply. Works best with peanut butter. Don't bother with the store bought 'Gel' food. It's not perfect, though. Out of five times the trap has gone off so far, have found three mice in it. The mice are smart little buggers. I've even tried the classic spring trap. They've set those off without getting caught! Also, if you think you only have one mouse ...

Curious how well these work with the really tiny ones. The type that are so small, they often don't weigh enough to set-off the snap traps and can even run right over the glue traps.

I bought a Victor MiceTrap, local store only carried this model, and have caught 8 mice in the past two months. Great video!

Not for nothin' but I think the mice cubes are the best.  Simple construction, you can see if there's a mouse in there, real easy to bait, and one commenter here said to drill some extra holes in it to make sure the scent of the bait gets out.  My vote is for mice cube.

I got the tomcat live trap and literally saw the mouse ram it back open and scurry away :(. C'mon buddy, I just want to set you free outside why you gotta do me like that?

i like the cube, its really simple and see thru so u can see if anything is in there. I caught one the length of the trap and had a hard time getting him out because of the door. I'm using the TomCat bait stations now. They go inside eat some poison and leave. (hoping they work) i have to go this route because we have a serious mouse problem at the moment.

I used that Victor one. And successful. Thats because your not supposed to take the lid all the way off. Your only supposed to open it just a little just to stick the bait in. Then close it

The other problem with the second trap you showed is some mice when trapped will knock the trap on its side, springing open the door and escape. BTW the tin version of the first trap shown also doesn't work because mice can slither out of it.

@FokkerBoombass; the mouse gets out by eating the peanut butter, but when he wants to get out, all he does is put his hand on the silver thing and push down. Therefore he can get out.

cut some slits or small holes in the mouse cube to allow smells out...seems like a solid product if they implement that.

I got the Mice Cube to help with some mouse problems I've been having with my truck and travel trailer, and it worked, but a word of caution: for those wanting to humanely re-release the mouse to the wild, be sure to check your traps often. I set mine up in the early evening, but when I checked on it by mid-morning (about 15 hours later), the poor little mouse died. I'm guessing the trap should be set just before going to bed, and then checked first thing getting up(?)

you can add drilled holes to the door of the cube to improve the dispersion of the peanut butter odor.
