This is my video for our NYOS online in 2020-featuring a brief introduction, a studio tour, a look at some recent work and a little bit of process too. My painting starts from walking and exploring in the landscape, but the paintings I make are not literal translations or reproductions of a particular scene or place....instead they are explorations of light and texture; layers in landscape and in paint.

I enjoyed watching this Jo, as I'm taking part in my first Northamptonshire Open Studios this year. I have been making art for many years, with occasional forays into exhibiting. Anyhow your video has encouraged me to prepare my studio for visits.
