True deliverance is not fighting not to sin but that the desire to sin is taken out of you. Only God can lead you through this process. Struggling in the flesh fighting your desire is in your strength. Lean into Gods process to deliver you from every evil desire.

It is possible to be delivered from lust. Attraction to other people will always be a constant, but that’s different from lust.

Yes social media will always be there. But you don’t have to be on social media. You can flee from this stuff and ask the Lord to strengthen you. It won’t happen in one swoop and you’ll probably have to remove other things you wrestle with as well, but list can be conquered with Christ

Temptation will exist until either Christ comes back or we die, whichever comes first. But the Bible says that we will never be tempted beyond what we can handle and that Christ will always provide a way out through Him. It’s never impossible to resist temptation with Jesus in your corner.

Y’all have no clue what deliverance is yet but I know that God got yall as long as yall continue to seek him because he did it for me. It’s nothing wrong with being attracted to the opposite sex that’s not lust but it’s when you began to go further than just being attracted.

This is so timely! I’ve gone back to Christ and my lust has never left, but I did abstain until I can find my God-willed husband. It’s very difficult to tame what I was so used to before. It is a daily struggle. But what has helped me so far was deactivate all my social media (except Youtube for Christian content) and be mindful of what I watch and talk about. Praying for myself and my brothers and sisters struggling with lust! Let us be reminded that we are more than just flesh and the Holy Spirit is with us.

Luke 10:19. Lust is an actual evil spirit that can be overcome through the power of God. Once it’s defeated in the spirit realm, it’s like a whole new world of living…..but a majority of the time it can’t be defeated unless you go into prayer WITH fasting.

Their on the right path but lust is similar to any other addiction. The desire to fall into it can be removed and the ability to avoid and turn down temptation can be granted. Lets not limit God in what he can do.

You can be delivered from lust. That's not something you have to struggle with forever unless you chose to. Thats why it's important to kill your flesh daily. Remember light and darkness cannot dwell together. So if lust is from the kingdom of darkness you have the right to tell it to flee in Jesus name and it must!

This sounds silly to me.

This generation does this a lot. They complain about lust and sleeping around but then wait years and years to get married.

You cant decide to do a lesser sin and think it is better. I am not saying marriage cures lust because lust is a slightly different issue that s3x itself. But it sure can help.

Ephesians 4 talks about putting on the new man and putting off the old man. So stop lusting, get in the word and prayer and watch your mind be tranformed and get married and start a family. You will be surprised how quickly this will change things for the long term.

God gives true deliverance . What’s she doesn’t understand is the true power of God. Saying lust is always going to be there is untrue . This is where total complete surrender to the creator who created us who redeemed is brought us back to a spiritual birth . Our bodies have been bought with a price, it’s the temple of the Holy Spirit .

It does go away, at the point where it goes away, your mind, thoughts and eyes don't even acknowledge it anymore even when it's in there face. So don't deceive people to think it's okay to keep feeling like that.

Ive been saying thisss!!! Sex is not the issue. Its how you’re using ittt. People are not toys you can just use. Its crazy how people dont treat the ones theyre intimate with, with more admiration. Unity, dignity, understanding, teamwork. Stop getting with people for self esteem or how you look or validation or cuz they have things you want but dont have. Be loyal to your people!!! Thats literally it. Be committed and understand that its not about getting your way or that other persons way. If you cant do that then dont be with them!!! Stop being intimate with people when its just convenient for you.
