Mariea, we do covers and receive copyright claims all the time - which is totally understandable. However the other day I took a video at a concert and uploaded it. At first it was a copyright claim detected by content ID. But Then a week later it got turned into strike! Can the copyright owner change their mind like that? Do they have a contract with YouTube that if content ID finds a match they make a copyright claim? By changing to a strike, are they violating that contract? Thanks.

Quick question since I see you content id your songs. I see BMI showing also with it. Is it good to content Id all your songs on YouTube so it can be counted with your PRO? Or just monetize your video without doing the content id for your own videos on channel wouldn’t matter? Or it’s better to have them all content ID that way u can earn money from your PRO since your music is being played so that’s a sync and composition and master recording royaltie I believe. That’s what I’m trying to understand so when I begin that stage I’ll be rdy. I think I may just buy irc for 95 bucks and sign up for songtrust then a PRO and have my irc connected to my YouTube songs that I own. Then when I need a distributor I’ll sign up with United masters then I’ll have the songs I want to distribute placed everywhere

I have questions about content id clam i uploaded 1 my won shorts video but i used 0.15 second music there is not showing copyright there is showing only (shorts policy) when i take action there are not showing 3 option like replace song, mute music and cut there is only option dispute in that Case how to solve?
