With the help of some very good friends and quite a few tears - I was able to create a video to honor and celebrate the lives of some magnificent humans and creatures we've lost this year. This video is a series of precious moments that I will treasure forever. I hope it helps you feel a little closer to home, a little more alive, and a little more in love with whomever you wish were still here with you. This is me saying - I'm with you. I feel it too, and I love you.

This song means so much to me that I can't explain it. It was my best friend's favorite and I'm glad she played it that one night when we were having a deep talk, sitting on a windowsill with a glass of white wine in hand, one leg hanging down. Just the two of us. The moment she chose this song, she asked me to just listen to it. We were quiet the whole time, enjoying it along with the summer breeze. Still one of my favorite and treasured memories with her. I really miss you bestie. I wish I stayed longer that night.

I just lost my cousin and BFF of 40+ years and he was the 4th death in our family in less than a year. Plus 3 of us were in a coma, I was in a coma, on full life support and had to go learn to walk, talk, , eat etc again after spending the latter half of 2018 in a coma. My grandmother passed away a month after the release of the song and the day before Mother's Day. Then I found this and listened to it everyday for weeks after she finally left. I'm still not sure what it was. Maybe it was just relatable but that was all I needed. Maybe it put my complicated feelings into coherent sentences, and I wouldn't have to be so frustrated anymore.
